Hoisting a Mainsail with Zepp Sticks

With Zepp Sticks® there are no lines or jacks for a hoisted mainsail to foul on, and no complicated mechanical systems of gears and wires to jam or break. Your mainsail design and performance are not compromised to accommodate an expensive furling system.

 1   Mainsail cover is removed

Mainsail remains secured in place with sail ties. Photo shows Zepp Sticks without Gathering Arms, which were removed when sail was covered after previous time out sailing.

If windy, raised Gathering Arms (not pictured) can be used to control mainsail while being hoisted.

Boat is sailing and Zepp Sticks are ready to be swung in parallel on boom. Zepp Sticks have a low profile when stowed on the boom. However, if preferred, Zepp Sticks can be removed and stowed below during the sail.
