Zepp Sticks Parts and Installation
Zepp Sticks® is an innovative and cost-effective system for furling and stowing a sailboat’s mainsail. The system is simple, lightweight, easy to use, and reliable. They fasten to the boom sail track with an adjustable and secure removable clamping system. Below you’ll find the parts list and installation details.

Overall dimensions: length 48”, width 2.5” ( not including AP Handle), height 1.4”

Base is a continuous unidrectional E-fiberglass/epoxy bar material with a flexural strength of 153,000 PSI.

Cheek Blocks height 1” x 0.5” thick x 3.8” long are FR4 fiberglass

Base and Cheek Blocks have multiple spray coats of an exterior black paint.

Harness Assembly is stainless steel, with the tube having 2 -M8 threaded studs welded to it.

Gathering Arms are 3K twill carbon fiber, with anodized aluminum Tips and Butts and Conical Locks fitted and expoxied.
If the Gathering Arms will be exposed to UV sunlight for extended periods, they should be spray painted with a clear coat. -
AP Handles and Boom Clamps are made of Nylon Plastic with Stainless Steel inserts. .

Harness Assembly
Posi-Lock Dips on both Cheek Blocks hold Gathering Arms securely in position when Adjustable Position (AP) Handle is tightened.
There are 3 positions: 120 degrees and 90 Degrees for Catching A Sail, and a 000/180 degree position for Shade the Sun

Zepp Sticks can also be installed with the mainsail in place. In that case, it may be easier to first install and position the Boom Clamping Device alone, then slide the Zepp Sticks’ Base in under the mainsail and onto Boom Clamping Device’s screw.
